Ancient Roman Coin Gold Earrings

$ 1,300.00

As a collector of ancient coins and artifacts, the artist has made sand castings in 18k gold of an ancient Roman coin from around 333 B.C. It shows the Roman Emperor Constantine the Great, who moved the seat of the Roman Empire from Rome to Constantinople. After unifying the Roman Empire under his rule in A.D. 324, Constantine rebuilt his seat of his power in largely Christian Byzantium, which was renamed Constantinople and today is Istanbul.

The earrings are 1/2 inch in diameter and are available in gold vermeil SKU-NT0712, 18k SKU-NT0713 and 22k gold SKU-NT0714 with matching ear wires. Please note, these coins are replicas of the original bronze coin.
